boutros ghali foundation calls upon the unesco to work on the renovation of the “notre-dame” cathedral

Mrs. Lea Boutros Ghali the honorary president of “Kemet foundation” as well as Mr. “Mamdouh Abbas” the president of the foundation stated their deep sadness and sorrow towards the tragic incident that happened to the historic Notre-Dame Cathedral in Paris, which is considered a major monument and an important shrine to many of the world populations.

Kemet Boutros Ghali foundation called upon the UNESCO in an official statement today to use its potency and power to renovate the historic cathedral which is considered a valuable human heritage, to return as it always was, a lighthouse to love and peace, and a major part in the French and European history.

Moreover, Boutros Ghali foundation stated that the French population and government are capable to pass through this tragic incident that happened to their country. In which, a massive fire had started on Sunday evening in the ”Notre-Dame” Cathedral , one of the most famous religious and touristic monuments in Paris and in the entire world, which lead to the fall of the Cathedral ceiling and tower.
