Ambassador Hisham EL-ZIMAITY, is currently Board Member, and Secretary General of the Egyptian Council for Foreign Affairs, ECFA; Member of the Board of Directors of the Grand Egyptian Museum, (GEM), Member of the Board of Trustees of the French University in Egypt, UFE; and Member of Japan-Egypt Business Council, JEBCHe is a former Assistant Foreign Minister for International Organizations & Multilateral Diplomacy; and for American Affairs.He was Ambassador of Egypt to Japan, Hungary, Slovenia and Pakistan; a Delegate of Egypt to the United Nations in New York and Geneva; and Diplomat to Sénégal, The Gambia & Cape Verde; to Belgium, Luxembourg & the European Union; and to France.He is also former Director-Dean of the Cairo Institute for Diplomatic Studies, (IDS); and Director of the Cairo Centre for Training on Conflict Resolution & Peacekeeping in Africa, CCCRPAmbassador El-Zimaity, born in Cairo on 13th March 1955, graduated in 1977 from the Faculty of Economics & Political Science, Cairo University.
