Celebrating the 10 year-anniversary of Dr. Boutros Ghali’s decision to establish Egypt's National Council for Human Rights, Kemet Boutros Ghali Foundation for Peace and Knowledge, presided by Mr. Mamdouh Abbas, has announced the launch of the Boutros Ghali Prize for Peace and Knowledge for best research in the field of international relations.

This happened during an event that was attended by a large number of university professors, diplomats, TV personalities and public figures. Among the attendees were Mrs. Lea Boutros Ghali, Honorary President of Kemet, Dr. Ghada Wali, Minister of Social Solidarity, Dr. Hala El Saeed, Minister of Planning, Monitoring and Administrative Reform, and Counselor Omar Marwan, Minister of Parliamentary Affairs. They delivered speeches about Dr. Boutros Boutros Ghali’s outstanding scientific and humanitarian contributions.
