What Does Syria’s Return to the Arab League Mean?

The Kemet Boutros-Ghali Foundation for Peace and Knowledge organized a seminar titled "What Does Syria’s Return to the Arab League Mean?", held at the Diplomatic Club in Cairo on the morning of Thursday, June 1.

Speakers included:

Mr. Nabil Fahmy, former Minister of Foreign Affairs
Ambassador Dr. Mostafa El Feki, renowned writer, politician, and diplomat
Ambassador Ramzy Ezzeldin Ramzy, former Assistant Foreign Minister and former Deputy UN Special Envoy to Syria
Ambassador Dr. Mohamed Idris, former Assistant Foreign Minister and Egypt’s Permanent Representative to the UN
The seminar was attended by a large number of former ministers, ambassadors, political science professors, and prominent intellectuals, including:

Mr. Amr Moussa, former Foreign Minister and Secretary-General of the Arab League
Mr. Mohamed Al-Orabi, former Foreign Minister and President of the Egyptian Council for Foreign Affairs
Mr. Mohamed Fayek, former Minister of Information and President of the National Council for Human Rights
Dr. Ahmed Gamal El-Din Moussa, Professor of Law and former Minister of Education
Dr. Alieddin Hilal, prominent academic and former Minister of Youth
The discussion was moderated by Ambassador Laila Bahaa El Din, Executive Director of the Kemet Boutros-Ghali Foundation for Peace and Knowledge.

The seminar was inaugurated by Mr. Mamdouh Abbas, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Foundation.
