Mr Mahmoud Abbas and the Kemet Boutros Ghali Foundation for Peace and Knowledge mourn the loss of journalist Shireen Abu Akleh, one of the most prominent names across the Middle East for her decades of reporting in the Israeli-occupied Palestinian territories. She was tragically killed while covering a raid by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) on the Jenin Refugee camp in the West Bank.
